Natural Asset Infrastructure in British Columbia:
Barriers and Opportunities
What’s preventing the adoption of natural asset infrastructure in Canada, and what can be done about it? The Province of British Columbia engaged MNAI to answer that very question; specifically, they sought to better understand provincial regulatory and policy issues that interfere with planning, designing, and developing natural asset infrastructure across BC, and how they can overcome them. While this study focused on BC, MNAI used a framework applicable province-to-province, and the research sheds light on universal challenges and solutions that other provinces and local governments can apply.
